Royal College of Surgeons

We were honoured to work at the Royal College of Surgeons being involved with the complete renovation of the Grade II listed Barry Building at 35-43 Lincoln’s Inn Fields.  We carried out the complete BMS electrical installation including plant rooms, air handling units and HVAC controls.

Summary

We contributed to the redevelopment of an ageing building into a bright and modern space. We received great feedback on the high-quality workmanship we delivered improving the flexible teaching facilities and adaptable social and working areas.

Lords Cricket Ground

We were excited to work at Lords Cricket Ground installing BMS for two new build stands (Compton and Edridge) and the complete installation of the energy centre situated in the clock tower. The works also involving BMS to bore hole ground source heat pumps. This included a high end fit out to JP Morgan corporate suite and works to food concession areas.

Summary

The project was fast tracked and had to adapt to working around live events which continued at the stadium whilst the works were undertaken. The end result was accomplished in a timely manner fulfilling the brief.

We had the pleasure of carrying out the design and commissioning at Ferrari London, South Kensington, in line with their new corporate image. This included providing an upgrade to their flagship showroom lighting system and the installation of a multi-media system, including the new Front of House lighting audio-visual system, with all IT comms, audio and visual cabling.

The Challenges

This project involved working around a showroom open to the public meaning a phased programme was adopted to ensure minimum disruption to the client.

Further works

This job led us to become firm partners which has resulted in more opportunities with this highly valued client.

Battersea Power Station

Duration: 2 years 8 months

We were proud to be involved in one of the largest mixed use re-development projects in the UK situated at the historic Battersea Power Station. Our contribution at Phase 3 of the project included the installation of smoke and pollution controls of a three-story car park and 90 floors of communal residential area.

Summary

At the time, this was the largest construction site in the U.K and was subject to constant changes involving site operating procedures, site logistics and amendments to programmes. We liaised with our business partner, continually evolving, and making changes accordingly to achieve key millstone dates and satisfy both our client and the main contractors executing our contract deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.
