We have over ten years experience in our smoke control team on the ‘Easy vent’ systems which we have installed on large projects such as Battersea power station and UCLH (University collage hospital London).
Right from the start Cartell’s involvement in a Smoke Control project is to assist the Smoke Control provider with a high level of support and assistance in the design and planning of the works.
We will assign a project manager, and electricians as required to effectively manage and complete the installation.
Our project management team will take the lead on preparation for works to begin on site with regards to health and safety, liaising with principle contractors and logistically moving the install team to site.
Our install team have knowledge on installing a wide range of Smoke control Systems including, Pressurisation smoke vent systems, Mechanical smoke vent systems, Natural smoke vent systems, Car Park smoke vent systems. This knowledge makes for a smooth site install for you, the Smoke Control system supplier.
Once work has commenced on site, Cartell’s team strive to maintain the highest quality installations whilst not compromising on health and safety. Regular install updates including weekly reports are provided to give complete transparency on progress.
One of the most critical stages of the process is the commissioning and closeout of the project.
On completion of the installation Cartell will provide a full set of as wired drawings and assist commissioning engineers with witness testing and familiarising them with the install.
We will liease with all project team members regarding the logistical requirements for the construction process, such as areas for deliveries, placement of barricades (if required) and hours of operation. We will maintain a tidy work space at all times.
